The same open-fit AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation added, which is unusual: ANC normally needs a sealed in-ear tip to work against, and this does it without one.
Adaptive Audio blends noise cancellation and Transparency mode as conditions change, and Conversation Awareness drops the volume automatically when the wearer starts talking. Everything in the standard model carries over: H2 chip, Personalised Spatial Audio, Voice Isolation, Siri Interactions, skin detection.
The case is the differentiator on this version. It charges wirelessly, which the standard case does not, and it has a speaker in it for Find My. Apple calls it the smallest case in the industry with wireless charging.
Battery is four hours with ANC on and twenty with the case, or thirty hours total with ANC off. IP54 rated. Charging cable not included. Supplied brand new and sealed.
