Valve's handheld gaming PC, in the OLED revision. It runs a full desktop operating system rather than a console platform, so the buyer's existing PC game library works on it, which is a different proposition from a PlayStation or a Switch and sells to a different customer.
The OLED model is the one worth stocking. Against the original LCD it has a larger 7.4-inch HDR display at up to 90Hz, 30 to 50 per cent more battery life, Wi-Fi 6E, and it runs cooler and about 5 per cent lighter.
Custom AMD APU, Zen 2 CPU and RDNA 2 graphics, 16GB of LPDDR5, and NVMe storage with a microSD slot for expansion. Two full-size analogue sticks, two haptic trackpads, four rear grip buttons and a 6-axis IMU.
Availability moves: Valve flags the OLED as intermittently out of stock in some regions because of memory and storage supply. Ask and we will give you a current lead time with the quote.
